How about Frizzen Sparks - he of the unholy Bad Example union begetting several bastardized childrens...
i have a loyal commenter at my site, who is ready to start blogging. i'd hate to see him start out at Blogspot, and i want to recommend him for Munuvian status. Those of you who have commented at annika's journal probably know Casca, and maybe even have been the target of one of his curmudgeonly insults. i think he'd be a great Munuvian in the tradition of John Collins of the much missed blog Collinization, or like Paul of Sanity's Edge, who's now a Munuvian, contributing at Id's Cage. He's cranky, funny, a poetry lover, a Southern Californian, a B-52's fan (whether that's good or bad, i cannot say) an ex-Marine who's now a Marine dad, and he's been a huge supporter of my blog for the longest time. The big secret about Casca is that beneath his rough exterior is a heart of gold. So what do you say?
Sacramento Republicrat is sick and tired of Blog*Spot. He'd love to be able to use a real blogging tool, like MovableType hosted on MuNu. He's also a home town boy since we're both from Sacramento. Not to mention a pretty good writer.
So, what do you all say?
Obi-Wan, of Forward Biased is interested in MuNu. He's currently a TypePad blogger. He is a member of Life, Liberty, Property already and has been around a bunch of us MuNu types already.
What do you guys say?
Ladies and Gents, I'm proud to put into nomination BlogMeister USA. Pam Meister is a fellow CT Blogger whose talents are being wasted on Blogspot.
Pam is not shy about sharing her opinions and does her homework to back them up. She is also currently a contributor to Lifelike Pundits. Seven months dealing with Blogger is long enough. She's paid her dues.
Fellow Munuvians, what say you?
Hi all! I have yet to nominate anyone into our little community, but I have somebody that lost his blog host quite a while back and is right pumped up about blogging again.
His name is Squiddy, not sure if he's related to this big guy but he's a smart, funny and creative blogger / web designer.
The free hosting he had for his family's domain disappeared, along with the person who made the arrangement, and any recollection from anyone in the company about said arrangement, yadda yadda yadda... He has a bit of it in archive HERE, of course the images no longer link, as it's been dormant for a while.
Any chance we can extend him a hand?
Fellow Munuvians, I have recently learned that we (Air Force Security Forces) have lost one of our own. She is the first female Airman killed in Iraq. Please take a minute to visit the Slaughterhouse and read my post. If you are so compelled to do so, please post on your own site and provide trackback to the post at the Slaughterhouse, not here.
I am trying to gather words of encouragement and support for the friends and family that she has left behind.
Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to help.
