Alex of Alex in Wonderland

A talented writer living in England, who's currently stuck on 20six, which - near as I can figure it - is something like the British equivalent of Live Journal. It's clumsy to navigate and unwieldy to use.

Try out his post on evil vegetables & give him a vote.

Keeping the Newspapers Honest

How about the Sacramento Bee Watch?

After all, every newspaper (especially one from a city that's the Capitol of a state) should have a watchdog to keep it in line.

Let me know.

Autumnal Fire as a Munuvian?

I posted this on the wrong place, earlier when I left my request at Munuviana...

What do you think of Ethne at Autumnal Fire becoming a Munuvian?

She's Blogspotted in a big way.

Professor Chaos

Dr. Leopold "Butters" Stotch Professor Chaos would make an excellent munuvian. His blogspot horror stories never seem to end.

Anyway, look what happened the last time Pixy Misa added a Ph. D. using a fictional name stolen from a popular American cartoon.

Possums

One of my favorite bloggers and usually the first site I open each morning, Terry Oglesby of Possumblog has finally -- after over three years on blogspot -- gotten really tired of everything one must put up with over there. I think he would be an excellent addition to mu.nu and I would love to see him be able to get out of Blogger's clutches. What do y'all say?

Stolen Beauty

I don't have a Blogger site to point you to as she'll be a virgin weblogger. My co-worker Amy is in the editing stage of her first book, Stolen Beauty. She's an advocate against child abuse and this book is a collection of her research and editorials over the past several years. I introduced her to my Zero Intelligence blog and she wants to do something similar.

Her site will serve as a resource collection for abused kids and parents who need help. The blog posts will be news items and editorial/Op-ed pieces related to the same topic. Overall, very similar to Zero Intelligence so take a look over there to see what she's aiming for.

She hasn't decided on a site name yet. She's looking for something that she can get a .com or .net for.

What say you all?

Let's Wage War

Friends, Munuvians, Bloggers, lend me your ears
I come to nominate the American Warmonger, not bury him!

Honestly though he is well deserving of a Munu blog. He is a veteran of the War on Terror and a navy brat. He is a 3 time King of the Blog winner, and is joining with Ogre to start a blog design company (complete with cheap SNL skit power to pump you up) What say you?

Precinct 333 I Beg To Differ Rhymes With Right

The Precinct Chair is sick and tired of Blogger. How about we add Precinct 333 to our marshalling forces? He'll be a great help in our efforts to take over the world. Actually we wouldn't be adding "Precinct 333" as he'd like a name change (TBD) with the move, but you get the picture.

Some of you probably know him better as Texas Teacher, his nom de plume when commenting at Zero Intelligence.

His writing features common sense punditry and topical discussion. He'll be a great addition to Munuviana.

UPDATE

The name of the new blog shall be... (drum roll please) ...

I Beg To Differ

Pixy, is this a go now?

ANOTHER UPDATE

Begging to Differ is already an established blog so the new name will be...

Rhymes With Right
