I Put Before The Council...

Merry Christmas everyone!

I got an email from Emigre of emagin today, asking if I could assist her (I believe she's a her) to migrate off Blogspot and move to a real "adult" blog (as she put it).

Now, this blog is not along the normal Munuvian lines, and indeed it reads like a long-running and subtle joke by Jim Treacher. (Who I also suspect of complicity in the The Iraq War Was Wrong Blog blog. Gads! The man's everywhere!)

So I decided to duck the question and see what you guys think.

News!

Emigre is one of the folk running the Iraq Blog Count site, which is a resource for Iraqi and Kurdish blogs, blogs of soldiers serving in Iraq, and so on. She'd like to bring her personal blog across as well, but she's most interested in finding a better home for Iraq Blog Count.

She also assures me that she's not Jim Treacher. :)

Mirthful Bloggers...

... hello all... a little birdie just told me that the fabulous writers over at The Mirthful Ones are looking to bust a move... I say that it's about time, and I think they'd make perfect Munuvians....

... it is a group blog with five contributors.. that being said, each of the bloggers runs with a different style and passion.... their content runs the gambit, people... sexy, witty, artistic, sexy, mirthful, intelligent, and sexy... a veritable rollercoaster of bloggy goodness...

... head on over, and check them out...

Quick, before she blows another fuse!

Tiffany at Blown Fuse is looking for a new home. She's on pMachine and is being bombarded with spam. Let's bring her into the fold and show her the wonders that are MT and Blacklist.

I'm Back (Again)

And hopefully I'll be able to stay this time.

I've set up Boudicca of Boudicca's Voice, Queenie of Inblognito and Delftsman (Mistermontezz) and sent out the emails. I've contacted Weaselteeth to see if he's still interested. I've done the laundry, and I just broke half my dishes so that little chore is out of the way. (Prior to this I've only broken one of my good dishes since I moved out and had dishes of my own to break. Oh well.) I've fixed my computers, moved servers, and fixed the backups so they don't make the machine grind to a halt. I've watched episode 2 of Gakuen Alice, and although I haven't sorted my downloads ready for watching, at least I've downloaded them. I've watched all of Charmed and Stargate, found my old Sims and Icewind Dale CDs, and played Sims 2.

Which means it's time to get the ball rolling again. I've dropped comments here and there, and I'll be checking back daily. So if you have more nominations - or old nominations that I dropped the ball on - this is a good time for them.

Oh, and remember to vote!

A Fresh Nomination..

... hey... I nominate Boudicca... she totally rocks.... plus, she's stuck on blogspot..

... as a blogger, she writes beautifully... she also has an incredible heart, and a wonderful ability to convey emotions... she's the real deal, people.... personally, I think she would be an incredibly welcome addition to our group of Miscreants Munuvians....

... besides, this is the first time I have nominated anyone to join our gleeful club... so, go and have a read.. I vote yea.....

Going for the Big Fish

Here'e a couple of big targets for the Mu.Nu quest to rule the blogosphere.

Rachel is looking for a place to hide. Should we offer shelter?

Should this guy be stuck on Blogsplot?
