So here's a nice girl on blogspot who posted a thoughtful entry on why she's decided to change her political leanings from left to right.
Her former lefty friends said some nasty things in her comments, but nicer people gave her support, so it was all good.
Then some of her former lefty friends hijacked her blog, totally destroying it and forcing her to move to a new site. She was able to save the content but not the comments.
Her current site is here.
I blogged about her controversial post and the rudeness of some of her commenters here.
I blogged about her victimization here, including a screenshot of what they did to her old site, which Blogspot has now taken down.
Can we offer this nice lady a home where marauding jackasses aren't allowed to barge right in and pee in her posies?
One of my fave bloggers Deb does very good sex in the city style stuff. She's currently typepad hosted but is looking to muve as it's too slow. I've pitched it to her and am awaiting a response:
I remember, over a year ago, being invited by Pixy to join the fledgling MuNu hordes. And look at us now.... multiplied by... um... a bunch.
I hate math.
In any case, I'd like to nominate someone to be invited to become a Munuvian, and not just because she said she wanted to. I've been reading Lynn at It Tastes Like, Burning for a long while, and even though she's one of them weird Canuckians, she's a good egg.
(I've been wanting to use the phrase "good egg" ever since the last time I watched "Willie Wonka.")
How about it, y'all?
Didn't someone say she was going to MT? Sounds like she just blew us off.
Methinks this might titillate Ilyka. :)
how about sarahk at mountaineer musings? Her top post right now.
ready to cut the apron strings...
i've been thinkin' about getting hosted, getting my own domain name, moving off of typepad (it's so sluggish!). now that i've been at this for 6 months, i figure i'll probably stick with it....
who's good for hosting? do they take care of the domain stuff, or do i have to go somewhere else for that?
Update: She's going to hosting matters instead.
Der Commisar is having hosting problems right now and is looking for a new home.
How about it? Da or Nyet?
Actually, the King of Fools is alive at the moment. The problem is that his site does die at odd times. He has the same host as Nick Queen (Patriot Paradox) so is well primed for some MuNu goodness.
What sayest thou?
The other day, Sara at Diotima wrote this:
Blogger is driving me up the wall. I'm going to have to get out.
I didn't want to extend an invitation without some more agreement, but she does run one of my favorite non-MuNu blogs...
