In my conversations of conversion, I recieved this question, to which I have precious little answer to - therefore, I make your collective problem in the hopes that y'all will have a better answer than my "dunno."
I'm assuming I'd be using Movable Type, but I've heard that the software isn't Mac-friendly (I'm on a 1999-era Mac G4 with the latest OS X), which makes me hesitant to make the leap.
Thoughts?

Posted by: Kang A. Roo at April 11, 2004 12:48 AMWhat little problems there are are not killers. The little formatting buttons don't do me a lot of good. They don't work at all. The preview for posts is a little wacky and takes some (bout 3 posts for me) getting used to.
A lot of this may have to do with insisting on using Safari, some of this will probably work just fine if you can stomach IE. I have personally never tried it.
I've used MT on my G4 Cube, a Mirror Door G4 and a G4 PowerBook all with Safari, all with the same non issues.

Obviously, I can't vouch for what this experience would be like if I were using a Wintel machine (something I'm not willing to do anyway), but I can't imagine it would be that different.

I am an Authentic Certified 100% Genuine Mac Lunatic. If your mate has any problems with Macs and MT, get him to contact me either direct or via the blogs. I am working on integrating two blogs together on separate systems in MT :-)
