Though I am a new kid on the block here myself, I could not turn away from the pleas of my friends and fellow bloggers. Give em all a look, and I hope you will agree, the high quality ore found on their respective sites....will only increase the sterling community which is Munuviania! And with the recent hiccuping in the way blogspot was screwing up many of the posts this past week well, can we do no less for our fellow bloggers out there, then give them a hand up?

She's cool and funny and she told me she is sick, sick, sick of blogger/blogspot (like any sane person will be, given time). And she just posted this.

Trey is sick of Wordpress and wants to rush to the moist warmth of a Munuvian embrace. Unfamiliar with Trey? Shame on you! He was the other half of the Givens/Peacock ticket in the 2004 presidential elections.*
In addition to being an excellent writer with a precise and logical verbal scalpel he's also a fellow Atlantean and family friend. He even boarded our dogs when we went to Warshington, at great personal risk to pride and property.
So what say you all?
* This was a wildly successful campaign. Not only did we finish exactly on budget (zero dollars) but we tied for third place with our take in the electoral college (zero votes). I should also note that we refused all government assistance including the FMFHFRP**.

It's been a long time since I've nominated here at Ellis Island. And, I'm actually nominating one of my very own bloggers at Auterrific.
Mark has decided to spread his wings and fly with his own blog. Over the last year, he has guest posted at several blogs around the blogosphere, like Calblog, Ultrablog, Auterrific and has been a regular visitor/commentor at Yourish.com for a while, which is where I first met him.
A few mu.nu bloggers know him well, but for others, this may be a first look at him.

i haven't done an Ellis Island nomination yet, but i have a very deserving blogspot refugee that should become part of our community. Mark Nicodemo has a really cool blog, he posts all the time, and he's grown tired of the limitations of blogspot. He's also been a frequent commenter at my humble site. i think he'd make a great Munuvian. Can he join?
Dagney of Dagney's Rant is interested in making the jump from Blogspot to MuNu and I think she would make a fantastic addition.
