Another blogger in desparate need for a new place to blog. He has always been very supportive and kind when I needed it, and is a true gentleman.
Weaselteeth, a very intelligent and thoughtful writer, has found himself involved in an untenuous situation at his current bloghost. It has gotten bad enough that this link may no longer work.
In the event that is the case, we were able to find a kind soul to download his archives.
I know you all are busy, but please take the time to look at this gentleman's site and render a "Yay" for him. A Good Guy shouldn't have to finish last when there's a community of other good people here to reach out and offer him a hand up.

Posted by: Tig at November 20, 2004 05:10 AMThanks to the TTLB Ecosystem links, I discovered this site and post tonight, and again can NOT speak enough nice things about the people like Lila, Margi, and OFJay who have offered help to a total putz like myself.
In brief, I signed up with Bloghosts and they held the domain registration in their name to preserve my privacy---but now are horrifyingly slow in transferring it to my preferred designee, or (in the worst case scenario) back to me by name. They're taking their sweet time about a backlog of similar transfers (from what I gather), and there is a real possibility that I will lose the domain name simply because I can't sign in and then redirect the server IPs.
Thrash. Froth. Wail. The archives are now stored elsewhere, but I really truly want to keep the domain name as well (at a new host). Holding out for the best of all possibilities is *NOT* good on the nerves here.
But most of all, thanks to you folks for your kind words and help thus far.
