How about a nice baseball themed blog?

Baseball is life.

(That's a yes.)

Looks to be mostly centered on his local team and the minor league teams in his local area. Does that mean we need to recruit bloggers covering all the other teams in fairness? Just wondering.

As well we should recruit other marsupial bloggers in fairness.

Baseball is BASEBALL... kangaroos are marsulpials.

There is no fairness in baseball... and there is no crying in baseball.

Yay or Nay... that is the question.

Where's Tuning Spork? He's a baseball fan, too. I'll vote yay for him in absentia.

I know less than nothing about baseball, so I'll leave this one to you guys.

While I haven't a clue what I've been nominated for, it's very cool that someone noticed my fledgling blog.

MuNu magic!

Err, is someone contacting people but not explaining everything, or does everyone in the world know about this?

I love baseball, as well. However, if we get started on such a track, soon we will have a Yankees blog, and that is the one thing I hate about baseball ... the damn Yankees buying the pennant year after year after year. I hate to do it, but I gotta vote Nay ... if Frinklin expands toward a greater variety of topics, with just an occasional mention of his local teams and such, I have will change my vote* ... of course, I might entirely be in the minority on this one.

*I entirely ignore all of Michele's posts about the Yankees and yet find myself reading all of The Fat Guy's posts about the Rangers -- go figure.

Frinklin's baseball blog is well thought out and well written. He blogged his picks in all the divisions in both leagues, not just his local teams. So what if he covers them... that's the definition of a "fan"?

Who said anything about the Yankees? He is a Mariner's fan. Because you don't like the Yankees is a reason to say no to this guy's blog? I like the Yankees... does that mean I should have to leave MuNu? What if I didn't like marsupials? Should that be a reason to deny Kang a spot in MuNu?

You would like his blog to a have a less narrow focus. How narrow is the focus on other MuNu blogs? I would argue that most have pretty narrowly focused subject matter.

I rest my case... we need to decide whether or not we invite Frinklin to join us at MuNuviana, and so far it looks like 3 votes Yay and 1 vote Nay.

I'll have to add, not only do I know nothing about baseball, but I don't follow any team sport. I kind of like Australia to win whatever games we might play, but I don't worry about it. Particularly since we ususally do. :p

Anyway, if it's well-written and civil, team partisanship doesn't worry me. It's a whole different ball game (sorry) to political partisanship.
